turningpoint Solution Kit
A built in solution kit which maps turningpoint data into the numerous functions available in ClickBase provides a quick and easy method for end users to become productive with only a few minutes training. After a brief introduction, end users can utilize the data views available in ClickBase or use them as a starting point to conveniently create their own customized reports. Sales managers can quickly and easily analyze sales reports by territory, customer or item with a simple drag and drop approach. Financial analysts can view general ledger reports in detail or in summary and produce sophisticated printed reports in minutes. Interfaces to all the major modules in turningpoint have been included in the turningpoint Solution Kit and can be readily viewed through the ClickBase data portal.


A New Approach
Instead of the typical report writer method in which the end user is presented with a blank screen and forced to develop complex database queries, this work has already been done. When ClickBase is launched, the end user is presented with multiple menu buttons to view Customers, Vendors, Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc. All the major modules from Sales Orders to General Ledger have been predefined in ClickBase and are immediately available for viewing by the end user. Choose from grid style ad-hoc reporting, paper based report styles, OLAP analytics, financial and statistical charting or the powerful master detail transaction level drilldown. Regardless of viewing preference, information can be sorted, added, filtered, grouped, deleted, summarized, averaged, etc., with simple point and click or drag and drop mouse commands.

Built In Features
With the built in reports, out of the box, ClickBase can help you analyze your sales by item, by customer, by territory, etc., using the drag and drop approach to add or remove reporting factors. Quickly determine your top ten customers just by clicking on the total sales column to sort from highest to lowest. Add in the gross margin for a better view of your profitability by customer or by item. You can even drill down to the transaction level where applicable.

By simply selecting the Payables icon, view your upcoming cash obligations. On the same screen, sort by due date or vendor. Click another shortcut, and add the buyer to your view


Using the views provided with the turningpoint Solution Kit, conduct a detailed analysis of your general ledger. On the same screen, view one or more years, compare years, sort by account segment, show debits, credits or the net amount. Select and sort by one or more accounts.

Get on top of your inventory quickly by viewing all items at all locations, or select specific locations or specific items. See your on hand, allocated and available quantities.

Reduce your report distribution costs by making these same views available on the web through the ClickBase web portal. Your users will be able to view and configure information from any location with just an Internet browser. Full security limits access to those with the proper rights.

Multiple Databases
In addition to viewing your turningpoint data, ClickBase can attach to any other databases giving you a combined view of turningpoint and other data. The integration toolkit is included.

Presentation Options
With ClickBase, reports can be presented in a typical columnar fashion, in a variety of graphical formats, or exported to MS Excel, HTML, PDF, XML or Text files. Additionally, ClickBase provides a portal through which all reports can be viewed and configured over the web.

Sophisticated Reporting
With just a little or no training, end users can use the sophisticated built-in OLAP (On Line Analytical Processing) cube analytics. This functionality is available in real time. No off line processing is required, but possible. Several analytical views are provided with the turningpoint Solution Kit and can be easily modified by the end user to answer specific business questions. Alternatively, the end user can create an OLAP cube from scratch, using the included toolkit.

Extend The Life Of Legacy Systems
Is your database missing one or two fields that you'd like to add, but don't want to modify your transaction-processing database? ClickBase has the solution. Through ClickBase, you can add necessary fields which are logically connected to your legacy database but which don't directly change the existing database.

Additional Security
ClickBase can expand your security options through its row level security functionality. Reports can be generated once, and users will have access only to specific rows based on their security clearance. You could post a full listing of your sales orders on the web and allow your customers to see only their own orders.
